Noobie Need Advice on Nand-X

This is my first post.. Be Kind. I have RGH'd a Trinity MB with an Ace V3 chip. It is booting Xell with eject button and dash 17502 on power button. I have the CD and DVD keys wrote down. I need to flash a DVD drive with the correct DVD key from the motherboard. (The original DVD drive is gone). My question is.. Is there any reason to keep my Nand-X cable soldered into my motherboard? Or can I go ahead and remove it..

The cable can be removed or left installed - it won't make a difference unless you want to read / write to the NAND.

OK Well I dont have another Nand-X cable, and as far as I know I wont need it again on this XBOX..SO I think I will remove it. Thanks for your help.
