JTAG noobs 1st go at jtag couldnt "add dashlaunch patches"

hi.
i work at a pc/console shop,a electronics tech,
but 1st time trying to jtag.dumped nand
and got cpu key then problems,i have checked forum.
i have updated...should i allway go with the latest dash.17k

thanks---got thru that problem,
now the next step,with my cpu key i clicked CREATE-BUILD
then WRITE-NAND..2mins later completed with no errors but only
boots to XELL-RELOADED....
again i have looked thru forum,
i have tried ticking dash-launch..
jtaged a 6717 dash with 2 diodes and link,if the wiring was not correct
would i have got xell-RELOADED to show cpu key...

Show us a your jrunner log. Did u unplug the xbox after writing the image to the nand. Also I'm assuming u powered the xbox on with the power button and not eject button.
