first off, welcome aboard, second off, read some f**king tutorials man, third off, if its solderless its a breeze, will take you like 3 minutes, but it will be sensitive, dont bang it around much, you can find flash tutorials on the board here, all the stuff is pretty easy, dont be nervous, you will laugh at yourself for it after

Exactly my thoughts when I first stated to hunt around here... My main advice is READ, READ, READ.... I read these boards for at least 3 straight days before even thinking of installing or buying an X3 chip because I was afraid I would f*ck something up!!! I'm overly noob in terms of soldering, but I did it on my first try...I even have a 1.0 that requires desoldering!!!

Professional Repair and Mods for Canada and USA

We are a professional electronic repair company specializing in the repairs of xbox 360 and PS3 game consoles. Our rework and repair station is an advanced, prorgammable hot air-based rework station for removing and replacing BGA (Ball Grid Array) mounted components on a printed circuit board. This technology has been used for repairing military/aerospace system, computer motherboards, pager and cellphones for many years.

A large percentage of the issues with the xbox 360 is the seperation of the GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) solder balls from the motherboard, caused by the thermal cycling of the component.

We do not simply reflow the necessary BGA chip or chips, their removed from the motherboard, reballed and reattached to the motherboard. Over the past three years, time has shown us that simply reflowing the BGA chip is not a permanent repair. Since 2007 we've repaired thousands of consoles in the Ontario region and are now offering our services to all of Canada and the USA. Our expirenced technicians are capable of diagnosing and evaluating what is required to repair your console.

Our commitment to correctly repairing your game console has required us to invest into the right equipment to meet that commitment. With our state of the art electronic repair equipment, we pride ourselves on repairing your console quickly and properly to minimize your gaming down time.

We also have a flashing and Jtag service come visit us at http://extremegamingsolution.com contact us at http://[email protected]
