Hello, I just bought a benq drive for my phat 360... and found the original was a lite-on. So I downloaded Jungleflasher v0.1.92 beta, and flashed it. However, the 360 is still reading game discs as DVDs. Can someone help me? What am I missing?

Windows XP 64bit SP3.
CPUZ says my southboard (that is my SATA right?) ATI ID439D
And again, benq VAD6038

I think I got everything, please let me know if I forgot something.

Here's the latest log

If it's a stock console, you need the same type of drive it came with to match the kv. Can't spoof drives any longer. If it was a RGH/R-Jtag it wouldn't matter as long as it had the correct dvd key on it.

To Scott1503: Since I'm not on live, I'm not too concerned about bans... or should I be? And I thought JF was a team-xecuter?

To Slayertex6: It's a stock console and can you explain a bit more? And what is RGH/R-Jtag? Sorry, fairly new to this.

To BL4K3Y: That was the only BenQ firmware I had... I tried the LT-autoload thing but it needed LTplus-benq-v1.1.bin I think it was? But I couldn't find that file...

You will be banned from xbox live so if you decide to go online in the future you can't. And to my knowledge jf is made and maintained by an external company I may be wrong tho

Scott's got a point. Your secdata probably has flags on it now. You would have to glitch it anyways to rebuild a clean nand before you try to get online.

Slayertex6: This is what I have so far...

Console Type: Xenon... from the power socket, I got the 6 thingies with a tab in the middle and I'm using a VGA cord w/o HDMI option... So I think it's a Xenon.
NAND Size: Haven't quite figured that out yet... still trying to figure out how to find that.
Dashboard: 2.0.16547.0
CB Version: Unknown, currently looking up NAND.

meads1970: That was the firmware I had. Which one should I be using?

Yeap, Xenon is split cb now, don't think they ever released an exploit for updated Xenons. You can replace the dvd drive with a like drive as long as you got the key, but it's most likely not live safe anymore. Xenon's have a 16mb nand, if you wanted to know.

Sigh, that's a shame. At least I learned quite a bit here. Thank you all. Going to see what pre-owned prices are like in town.

If you have the original drive, then you can rip the key with the x360usbpro, and the cr3-probe v3. This still wont do u any good with a benq drive though.
