X3 3108.bin, got it off the IRC channel this morning, also just found out that when i leave it on just the FlashBIOS screen for just a few minutes the fan starts to spin really fast and just sounds like the thing is going to blow, and the eject button turns amber and blinks, don't know if that will help or not

Could be a solder splash or Overheating? Try running the xbox with chip disbaled for a a while and see if the orange flashing appears also.

nevermind just overheated right after that post, or the eject button flashed amber and the game shutdown but the xbox did as previously stated

No probs mate. You can go into X3CL settings and crank up the fan speed. This will help your xbox keep cool. ALternatively you can buy an external fan that clips onto the side of your xbox.

Cheers

Haha that fan is f*cked up,
it blows the air against the heat plate of your xbox...

Buy some new fan, 80mm, and your xbox is very cool haha...

Hey, I had the same problem... Kind of. I got to the bios screen, Http flashed, and nothing happened when I rebooted the xbox. And now when I turn on the original Xbox MS dash, It says that my xbox needs to be fixed or something! wtf. I can only get to the Bios with the 256k backup now. Please Help.

A few things:

Your Xbox version?
Your bios version?
The error number that you get?
Note the colour of your Eject light and if it is flashing.

Your Xbox version? 1.0
Your bios version? 3.0.something
The error number that you get? none
Note the colour of your Eject light and if it is flashing. When trying to open the MS dashboard it blinks red and green.
Oh, and one more thing... Is it normal when you turn on the xbox and it shuts down and restarts twice before displaying the Bios screen?

You won't get very far using flashbios (3.0.something) Download a proper bios!
If your xbox tells you it needs service then there will be error number in the top left corner.

What happens when you boot with your chip enabled?

It is not usual for your xbox to power cycle before loading the bios... when did you first experience that. Oh and PM'ing me telling me you are in a hurry was very nice of you too...I do have a life you know. Just because I enjoy spending time here helping people doesn't mean I haven't got other stuff to do! I hope my suggestions so far have helped you out... because you can bet that my next reply will probably be half hearted:p
