Ok, before you say anything, im not uploading any images because they would be pointless.
It is booting my R-JTAG image from the DemoN NAND, however it refuses to boot the original NAND from the onboard NAND.

I have dumped the NAND using my JR-P and compared it to my original dump before I even installed the R-JTAG and they match so there is no problem with the on board NAND.

If the lights on the DemoN Ext. board are blue then it boots the hacked image perfectly fine. If I then push the button so the lights go off, the xbox throws a RROD 0020. The R-JTAG board doesn't attempt to glitch as expected.

Any ideas?

EDIT: forgot to say, it's a falcon

I'm sorry but I see no template thread anywhere in this forum, I also opened a few threads and didn't see anyone else using one.
Does it boot your stock nand from the demon?
 why didn't I think of that.
Stock NAND on the DemoN boots perfectly fine

Then its harsh to say but its a soldering issue.
Follow template and upload pics of soldered areas.

Problem could be spotted pretty easilt by eagle eyes.
Have you checked points with a multimeter?

OK, so maybe that didn't fix it

Turns out stock will only boot when I have un-soldered the R-JTAG power

So it will boot stock from DemoN and mobo NAND if R-JTAG is left unpowered, it will RROD with R-JTAG powered

Pics as requested.

The issue is likely that you are trying to use the JTAG header and cr-en for the demon when it is built into the cr3.

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

Use your volt meter and test whether or not the EN terminal is going high when the Demon is enabled and low when it is disabled.

Tapatalk misspelled it. Knot me.

When the Demon NAND is enabled I get 3.3V, when it is disabled I get 0V
So since correcting the error you made, have you rewritten the R-JTAG image to the DemoN?

I can also see why you didn't want to post pics.
Since thinking I corrected the error, yes I wrote the R-JTAG image back to the DemoN.
Upon realising the fault wasn't fixed I tried the stock on the Demon again. What I found was that if I unattached the power from the R-JTAG then I was able to boot stock from both mobo and DemoN NANDs

I also don't understand what you mean by that last sentence. I know my soldering isn't the neatest or cleanest, but its a hell of a lot better than what I have seen on these forums.
Also by the fact that I was able to read, write and boot from both NANDs, I was (and still am sure) that there is no issue with my soldering.

Why are you still trying to boot stock from the DemoN? It won't boot unless you detach the R-JTAG as it's SUPPOSED to be trying to boot an R-JTAG image.

Put the R-JTAG image BACK on the DemoN.

Neat and clean soldering is the secret to stuff still working a year down the line. I'm seeing at least 4-5 points which could do with retouching.

the R-JTAG image is on the DemoN at the moment, I was meaning that because I wrote the stock to the DemoN, I realised that it won't boot stock while the R-JTAG is powered.

Yes, thats working as intended.
When the CR/Rjtag sees its the demon nand, it will try to glitch.
So if stock on demon nand, it wont boot unless cr/rjtag is disabled.
