LITEON DG-16D2S Not Detected, Locked, Bricked, whichever.....

For the first time I am unable to unlock this Liteon DG-16D2S, I have unlocked plenty, today I refurbished 5 Liteons for resale, one was locked, so I am unable to complete the repair on it.

I have several of these drives in front of me now, no trouble with any except this one.

I have tried everything I can think of in JF, I tried liteon erase and cannot get the ff72 status I want, getting only ff7f after literally hundreds of commands.

Some helpful information.

L-O-ERAS Status FF7F (tried lots of times)
JF info - upon liteon erase, I get status 80, but it fails to intro and enter vendor mode, trying intro again, just dots, dots and more dots, it never intros, yes, I power cycled the drive.

I'm using the CK3 lite for power and the X360 USB pro for connectivity, except for L-O-ERAS, I use SATA direct to the motherboard.

Any Ideas?

If you see something other than status 0x72 (Vendor mode) after issuing the Lite-On erase command, try clicking Intro/Device ID, click Yes and power cycle again.

I tried that already, it never intros, just dots until it finally gives up itself.

At less than $15, I think I may just buy a new PCB, I have 3 for my repairs so I can wait a little bit before replacing a PCB in this one, in the mean time I want to try and make this PCB work.

Sorry for the double post/bump, but I would like to add some information.

I get the exact same response in JF when I disconnect power and SATA from the drive also, maybe the PCB is not getting power, possible, is there a way I can test the PCB itself to make sure its actually getting power?

I would just throw or keep as spares, or send to someone for repairs.
