Or would it be less hassle for me if I were to take it for services by a professional around my area? If so, do u know anyone around my area that does them?
Derby, UK .. happy to drive (not long distance) and wait till the job is done then back home.

It's really up to you, I can assure you that flashing a drive with an X360USB Pro will eliminate most problems you are facing but as you mentioned you will need to wait some days, enough time to read up on all the tutorials.

Check out MODTRADERS they are in the UK and do some nice all in one packages.

Check the Modding section for a local vendors, there are loads on the site.

Ok, just got this x360usb pro today.

Seems that I'm missing 1 item (no molex power cable to the liteon drive), but i thought prehaps I try with my Maximus 360 Power Dongle to power it up but unfortunately it still not detecting the drive. - It is possible that my liteon drive may have been bricked? - what else should I do?

Yup, it's 0.18.1

Still not detecting the drive.

If you feel that there's no other options, maybe you can tell me if it's better off for me to buy a new drive or take my drive to professional and see if they can fix it for me?

Drive cost £25 .. I dunno how much professional would cost me

I believe I did .. but it not doing anything ..

Tell me exactly where/when I should power cycle?

I use the off and on on my Maximus 360 Power Dongle as soon I clicked on the dialog box asking me to turn power off for less than 1 second .. I clicked on "OK" then done a power off/on within 1 sec and it still showing all those dots i.e. "......" but nothing. Am I doing it wrong or what?

I think it works now!

Seems that my Maximus 360 Power Dongle is faulty .. had to borrow from a mate's and it works perfectly. Now time to flash to 3.0 LT
