when i ry to flash my bios it says illegal size,not flashing how do i get the right file size, or where do i get it

Are you using the X3_3294 bios?

did you unrar the file to find two x3 bios
x3 3294 for v1.0 to v1.5 xboxs
x3 3294 v16 plus for v1.6 v1.6b xboxs

In case you don't know there are 4 different size BIOS banks on an X3, they are 256Kb, 512Kb, 1Mb, and 2Mb.

When you flash the BIOS with a 1MB BIOS (X3 3294) you need to have it set to a 1MB bank such as Off, On, Off, Off or On, On, Off, Off. The first contains FlashBIOS 3.0.3 while the second contains FlashBIOS 3.0.1. Check the size of your BIOS to insure it is 1MB and then make sure you're flashing to a 1MB bank.
