LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Not reading disc after locking spi...

Never seen this before...all is backed up, all steps normal...I left it unlocked, tested the drive in the system and it read the original disc...so I locked it...and to be safe tested again...and now it not reading the orig. disc (spiderman)...totally baffled...

Yea, I flashed, locked, outro, test...got {Play DvD}...hook back up, unlock, reflash, lock, outro, test...{Play DvD}. Then I was like WTF, so I unlocked and tested, and game recognised. I decided to leave it unlocked...makes my life simple.

U make sure the flashing device was detected as primary? Did u double check the key to make sure it was also correct? Because play DVD is a classic wrong DVD key

From the way you described your problem,it sounds just like the problem i posted just the other day.

If you will,please try this.

1) load your OFW as source.

2)Manually load the stock 0401 Fw,found in the JF files.

3)Tick spoof to target,and save the new stock fw to file, name it as remake.bin so you don't get confused which one is the OFW

4)shut JF down,after you have saved the new stock fw to file.

5)Now boot JF,load your new stock remake.bin as source and manually load 0401 LT+ 3.0 as target and tick spoof to target.

6)unlock and flash as normal.


Everything went fine in JF in my flash also,but had play dvd on originals and back up games.I still do not know what has caused this epidemic,but it works and haven't had a problem since the above steps were carried out.
What have you got to loose.:cool2:
Some how it seems my OFW must have become corrupted,not sure what has happened.The above steps worked and haven't had a problem since.
