I had a little trouble flashing my ms28 but I finally got it working, (or so I think) thanks to this great forum. I then tried playing a backup but I am not sure whether or not I am doing the right thing..
I have an iso of a game on my computer. I was not sure at all how to use this iso because I know that games have to be stealth patched. I looked for tutorials but I could not understand how to get the ss and other various requirements. However when I ran xboxmulletter, and selected the "view ISO details", ion the xtreme compatibility setion, it had all options checked. I assumed this meant it is ready for my ixtreme firmware. I noticed though there was an "insert Stealth" button at the bottom. Selecting it would request for pfi/bin files which i have no clue what those are.
So I went ahead and burnt the dvd with cloneCD (2x speed with imation dvd +R ) and when i insert it into my 360, it displays "play game" on the main screen, but when I try to play it, it read for a couple o minutes then informs me that I have an unrecognised disk. However, the first time I inserted it, it said, "to play this game, you need an update, otherwise you will not be able to play this game. Do not switch off console...After selecting yess, it then rebooted and tried to play the game but to no avail leaving me where I am now.
Is it the burining, the stealth , or the firm ware modding that I have messed up? Help please...
