Nothing happening while flashing

Hi there here is my little problem.
I have installed my chip and all has gone well.
I have it up and running so i went to flash the bios.

Went and got the files and out them to dvd disk
then selected flash for disk put it in it says flashing xecuter and stopps there.
i have no yellow bar on the screen but the front of my xbox is flashing green and orange.

Its on a verson 1.5 with xecuter 3 chip.

What is my problem and how do i correct it.

flashing green and orange usually indicates your a/v cable is not connected but it sounds like that is not your problem. I have seen this happened with corrupted or wrong bios. What bios are you try to flash to your X3 and what switch positions have you set it as?

tryed 1959 bios and the new one 3029

On banks on on off off off

there are 2 types of bios for each version. Can you type out the name of the bios you used? Additionally, you may want to recheck your soldering especially pins 13&14 and perhaps 15.

I have found something ells out if i hit the power button quickley the yellow bar goes across then it says

Programming Failed: program fail for byte at +0*0; wrote 0*09. read o*ff

I don't understand whats it meens iv checked my soldaring thinking it was the thing that was causing it but its not all sound.

yeah, unfortunately it sounds more like soldering problem now, buddy. Use a magnifying glass to make sure they have good contacts or just redo them.

hi m8 made sure they were good and solid and checked tracks around there to make sure booted it up and same thing has happened might it be a faulty chip.

just it works great uptill the point of flashing it.

x3 chip

i am haveing the same exact problem. i am trying to flash the x3 with the new 3029 bios. when i try flashing is says it is flashing but the bar never comes up. and it just sits there like that. but i dont get and error code. when i push the power button the bar comes up and fills half way up with yellow and just shuts off. i checked my soldering, and resoldered many times, and everything looks good.
