I have a weird problem going on here.
First off, i have a v1.0 Xbox with a Xecuter 3 all hooked up fine.
Bios 1959 worked flawlessly and I only upgraded to 2014 naturally thinking it would work better, unfortunately it never saved any settings and yea anyways, I moved on to 3029 a couple of days ago and it went great until my xbox started to just freeze up occasionally and then it wouldn't even boot after a while. Now when i go into Flashbios 3.0.0 (never thought to upgrade to 3.0.3) it lets me flash off the C: and does it fine, but after it shuts off, I turn it back on and it turns off and on 3x and Frags... fun stuff :( any suggestions and i would like to flash via network, but i just can't get into for some reason.

If your flash bios works I wouldn't up grade it. I have a couple of questions. (don't be offended)
What is your switch setting?
Is the flash protect off?
Did you download the right Bios version? (Not the ver_16plus)

FYI
In the past I have found it necessary to delete the bios (from my pc), go back and download a new copy, and reinstall. Also when I flash my bios I use a different bank than the previous, so if things go bad I can still boot to the old bios. (It's nice to have two 1mb banks)
Let me know if this works or doesn't work I'm sure we can find the answer.

My switch settings are on on off off off for banks 1234 and i have done it on off on off off off for 5678, and it still doesn't work and i have the flash protect off too as well as the original bios version not the ver_16plus.
After I posted this thread last night, i flashed via LAN to see if that would do any better using on on off off off and i know it flashes it, i just have begun to suspect if the soldering inside has come loose or something because during all this mess earlier, i could still boot with X3 disabled, now i can't even do that. anyways, i'll take a look at the soldering and see what i can do.
