Best way to install RetroArch is direct from their site. The hbappstore may not be the most up to date.

Hi my friend, It seems you are a bit lost. I will try to clear things out for you:

You can download tinfoil and retroarch on their respective github, it's pretty easy. Just google.

You can replace Tinfoil with SX Installer on this Thread(https://team-xecuter.com/community/threads/sx-installer.130503/post-1005795). It has similar functions and it is maintened by SX Team.

For Retroarch, just google "Libreto retroarch Switch" it should be the first link for you.

About game difference it is up to you.

NSP are packed files, you will have to install them in order to use the game/app.

XCI are like Isos/Roms, if you use SX Os, just place them in the root of your SD Card / HDD, launch album, select the game and play.

For obvious reasons, it is not allowed to shake Warez Links/Game Files here since they are copyrighted material, and we do not want our support forum down or facing a law suit because of it. Either you dump your own games as other members already suggested you, or be creative to find them by yourself.

Best Regards.
