I've got a Xbox 1.0 modded with the X3. I connected the Xbox to the TV-Card in my PC and everything was displayed black&white. After playing around with the settings, I was able to get color... sadly I have no idea where I did the changes. After that I installed a new HDD, flashed X3 Bios 2913, installed apps and so forth.
After finishing the configuration I connected the Xbox to the TV and everything is black&white there. Back at the PC its color again..
Problem is obviously that the Television is PAL (Germany) and my TV-Card at the PC is autodetecting NTSC-M from the Xbox. Solution would be, to convince the Xbox to send PAL again, like it did at the beginning.
Now the option in the X3 Bios (Settings/Video Regions/Pal I) is enabled, but still NTSC is detected. The Video Region Quick Swap Feature also makes no difference which key I press... always NTSC.
Viewing the eeprom with ConfigMagic it says "PAL, Region 4", which seems to be alright.
What am I missing?
