Ok, After my BAZILLION problems with my x3 and xbox, I figured it out and am now running the x3 bios.. basically reason I couldnt get to my back is the way the box powers up now.. the switch goes red, regardless of how long I hold it, after going red, the eject blinks 4 times green, then the switch goes blue and loads whatever bios on the x3 banks im on. I can get to the x3live and all. I can also get to the backup once the 4 blinks stop "IF" i'm holding the power and eject during the bootup phase, not touch and let go guys, but hold during a 10 second bootup sequence and not the normal xbox logo.. I cannot get this to load into the dash though for some reason, im wondering if it could be the EEPROM, or what, HD is locked, it's a v1.6, running the 1947 bios I think, *btw the x3 wont boot when I load 1959 v1.6, just refuses to boot it with a blue screen. All I need to do is get back to my M$ Dash as I did before and im happy, and takers ? Thanks.

Negative, I bought one, and the guy gave me a 1.0, flashed with that, and the problems started. Told him it didnt work, and he sent me the same one "converted" to a 1.6, i'm assuming he means 1.6 by liveinfo, clicking the pulldown and choosing 1.6 save, and boom. So no, I havent tried an authentic 1.6 eeprom yet. So im technically running on a 1.0 xbox eeprom, on a 1.6 xbox.
i have a 1.6 box that's NEVER been on xbl, and i have absolutely no plans to ever use xbl with it, so i'll sell you my eeprom if you want it, hopefully it will solve your problems.

yea, and the funny thing was i kinda knew that the whole time, even tho me and naoneo are in diff regions, it still works cause its an authentic 1.6 EEPROM, I bought a backup EEPROM and Stock just in case I get banned again, I got banned last time because I turned on that stupid auto sign in.. that'll never happen again.
