Off-The-Shelf Corona Slims - Glossy??

Identifying a XBOX motherboard by simply looking at the outside case is hard, however with Slim's it is a bit easier. When I see a Glossy Slim, especially one that is sealed, I always identify it as a Trinity, have never been wrong. However lately I am a little suspect.

Microsoft discontinued Glossy cases back in 2011 I believe. However checking online retailer web-sites they are now showing Glossy cases.

Can anyone confirm that glossy cases are gone and that all new XBOX Slim's are the matte finish or did Microsoft return to glossy, scratches, and fingerprints?

Additionally, has anyone seen the matte finish with chrome trim? Is that a new 4GB feature or is that a later model (late 2011 and 2012) for the matte 250GB?

from what i've seen....the only thing I see most of the time is matted xboxes....the glossy ones is totally rare...

I was under the impression they discontinued the matte finish and made all consoles glossy, as I have yet to see a 250gb matte black, but have seen a few (Corona) glossy 4gb models. That was one huge reason I went out of my way to get a matte black case, because I can't stand the gloss ones they switched to.

Ive bought about 10 360 250gb slims in the past 3 months all have been matte black they stopped the glossy an the 250gbs are now like the 4gb even the bazel is a blackish

Well something is up because BestBuy.com says Glossy for the 250GB and it said Matte a few months ago. I think I will go to a few retailers this week and see what's in the box's

I have seen a few glossy Corona's. I've never seen a 250GB console with a gloss case, unless it has had a HDD bought separately. I never knew glossy cases were rare? Are they really?
