Movies are NOT region free....
Games are somwhat region free meaning that you can play a japanese PSP game on a US PSP and vice versa BUT there have been reports about problems concerning network play. I heard it is not possible to connect with a US wipeout when someone hosts a game with the japanese version of the game...

i have and the only problem i found was i got charged 52 quid on the customs bill lol. o yea Bout the movies as luck would have it Japan and England have the same region on DVD's (region 2 BTW) and the game have no region so worlds your oyster (i thinks thats how you spell it lol). i got the PSP - 1000 value pack, wipeout PURE (which is perfect), Ridge racers (which is excelent), USB charger/data cable (useful for wen im at college ;P) and a clear protection case (not worth the money dont but it) all together (including customs bill and 15 quid delivery) 272 pounds. and it was with me within 3 days. any other questions just PM me or post here.

hope this is helpful ;)

so back to the original question has anyone here bought a psp form lik-sang
Are you having trouble finding a place to purchase a PSP from in the "states"??? According to the sales figures, Sony didn't sell nearly as many PSPs as they first thought they would (they even stalled for two weeks to divulge their PSP sales figures)... and I see them in stock at just about any retailer that I've been to since I purchased my PSP (a week after they were initially released).

If I were you, I would try your best to find one locally. If not, buy one from a respected web-site.
