Should I really upgrade to LT?
My xbox got banned in last year's ban wave so I looked on the internet and discovered that the benq non stealth 1.41 rev2 survived as long as the games were properly stealthed. So instead of waiting for LT I flashed one in December (I believe) and haven't had a problem (another benq flashed obviously). And recently they had to update LT because there was a bug, so that got me worried. Should I stick with benq non stealth 1.41 (said to be reliable and proven to be) or upgrade to LT which may possibly have more bugs.

I just want to see what happens. I could care less really. This xbox is 3 years old and I believe it has a Falcom chip in it, so it's bound to eventually dieing anyways, so I'll get a new Jasper xbox 360. I have heard rumors of a 360 slim though with the release of Natel. If this is true, I'll get rid of my current one. Now, back to topic, people reported 1.41 non stealth rev 2 survived last year, so I thought it may work again. And if Microsoft is trying to target firmware to ban people for this year. Who are they gonna go for, LT or 1.41? I'm pretty sure MS employees view this site and flash their own xbox's to exploit their design error every year and are probably getting ready for LT (Newer and more popular). It's just my thought, I could be wrong.

I'll take my chances and report what happens. I would laugh if I survived this year and LT users didn't, but it will probably be me who fails in the end. I guess only time will tell. Good luck to everyone this year in the banwave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is slightly off topic but I know it was standard that you were allowed to make a backup of anything you owned untill I think word 2003 where they introduced a no backup clause into the licence.
Personally I've just decided to stay off live permanently, I never really had gold anyway so don't feel i'm missing out, after all I can still play all the games I want to play and I really don't want to have abuse shouted at me from some little snot whilst I'm trying to play.

That's true, but some games just end up sucking real bad and the only good thing about them is the multiplayer. For Halo ODST in my opinion, had a crappy story. The only thing fun was firefight. I think that is what it's called.
