CS... I wouldn't worry too much about the bad block remapping. XNand Healer does a very nice job of it. Also, there will be a rare (I've had 2 so far) instance where blocks shouldn't be mapped to the end of the NAND as usual. So to really make the remapping option perfect you would need to have a start or end block option and have it map from or to said block. I've already talked with the XNAND people and they're looking at it since they haven't had an update in quite a while, but I don't expect anything soon (if at all)

Anyways, lovin the app!

Okay! Have you repaired the tool ?

For waiting, i have created a .bat script to flash Xellous.

I will integrated the script to my "how-to".

BUGS in 2.72

When making a 12611 image from freeboot 9199, then Fbuild will tell you that smc.bin! cannot be verified then it wont boot when using AUD_Clamp fix. It wont boot to Xellous too.

This wont happened when you use JTAG Tool 2.50 and below

You realise that the latest version uses both alternate points (audio_clamp & open tray) not just the audio_clamp on it's own?

Coolshrimp have you found out the reason why some txt in jtag tool doesnt display? also when you change the ALT SMC to Yes does it use aud_clamp + tray open also now? is there a way to just use aud_clamp alone?

Btw im on winxp sp3. Amazing additions to the tool man, I would just love to figure out why "some" txt doesnt show up in windows xp and on windows 7 it all does.. really weird.

i got the tool installed but am getting the following error:

"unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit the application will close immediately. could not find the file c:\program files (x86)\jtag"

the directory the program installed to was \jtag tool. anyone know whats going on with this? im new to jtagging so i have no idea if this is something simple or not. my OS is win7 64bit and im using the usb spi adapter instead of parallel.. ive been searching around to try to shed some light but havent found anything. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check the installation. You might need to make sure of the installation path for jtag tool to work. Shouldnt make a difference if setup normal with no altered path extensions. Coolshrimp will have to verify...
