i got the tool installed but am getting the following error:

"unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit the application will close immediately. could not find the file c:\program files (x86)\jtag"

the directory the program installed to was \jtag tool. anyone know whats going on with this? im new to jtagging so i have no idea if this is something simple or not. my OS is win7 64bit and im using the usb spi adapter instead of parallel.. ive been searching around to try to shed some light but havent found anything. any info would be greatly appreciated.

What Text Dosent show up? ill fix it and im adding in the next one the option to choose Just AUD_CLAMP or BOTH AUD and DVD
Download Flash 360 isn't displaying anything, and In driver/options all the lower tabs are not displaying either.

Once again, Love the tool man.. I moved to windows 7 but I mite have to dual boot winxp and 7 because windows 7 mouse accel drives me nuts, All tho I did do the mouse accel fix for it and its still so much faster than xp.. dunno

So if you want me to test it for you I can ( all tho you prob have a pc with winxp on it )

Cheers

ok i got manual remaping working so any final requests before i release this thing?
i have put ALT SMC Options For (Original, AUD_CLamp Only , BOth AUD_Clamp & DVD_Tray)
also fixed the error of text not showing up..

when writing Freeboot to a BB Jasper It will say its a (Jasper 256mb ) dont worry its fine files only really 66MB so i use the 256 MB Command..

I was just curious about something with this tool, is it faster than command line? I use a USB SPI Flasher and I don't have a JTAG box, but I like to occasionally dump the nand for one of my modded boxes (especially when there is a dash update). It usually takes a while to dump the first 70 (I have a BB 512), somewhere between half an hour and 45 minutes I think? I was wondering if this tool sped up the dump process at all or if it just implemented the command line instructions into the tool, simply making it easier to use.

Coolshrimp,
I see the smc options, I get normal, and both but is the aud_clamp pointed at the alt db1f1 or the original db1f1 on top.

If not could you add that in with some coloring pages to view. (Pictures/Diagrams)

Again thank you for the tool I used it for the first time on a falcon board and and man did your upload hit when I opened up jtag tool. I thought is was my birthday all over again...

Now all you have to do is add in every flavor of smc options that arise for verious reasons.

i put it the most common smc options any otheres you can create yourself lol..

DB1F1 and Aud_Clamp i.e. Q2N1 are separate things. DB1F1 has alternatives on the reverse side of the motherboard, as for Q2N1, (to keep things simple) it doesn't have any alternative.

Possible Bug

every single time I try to read nand or write xell, I get a pop up Dialog Box for Just In Time debugger. I am using windows 7 and run this program as admin. Once this box pops up, I am no longer allowed to read or write at all. Please help. Here is the message as follows:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi Guys

Since updating from v2.72 to v2.75 I can only perform one operation in the Jtag Tool that uses nandpro, i.e. read a nand image once, or write Xell/Xellous once. When trying to do a second thing in the Jtag Tool then I get this error:

Unhandled exception.
The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

I've had this error before with other programs completely unrelated to this. After a reboot I can then use the Jtag tool but again only once until this bloody error comes back. Bit annoying having to reboot twice just to get three nand dumps!

Anyway I came on here to see if anybody had the 2.72 version as I had no issues with that one. I can't find a download link to previous versions.

Cheers
Mark

In case anyone gets this error I found out the problem. AVGIDSAgent is locking up the CMD.bat for some reason, yet to find a way of stopping this from happening though without having to disable AVG.

Cheers
