falcons need alt wiring for new dash i just did one that was using traditional wiring and changed it to alt and it boots fine

You are Correct! DB1F1 and ROL , 0 bad blocks on read or write.
Anyways, I got it working by using Easy FreeBoot GUI with default options to create the Image file then Write it with Jtag Tool 2.12. So, maybe there is a problem with Jtag Tool on creating the Image file.

Your answer lays on top with xmods post. Jtag tool 2.12 uses alternate points for the freeboot image. As you were using the default ones, you altered these in the Easy Freeboot tool hence why it worked now.

When i use Jtag tool 2.12 I get 1 solid green light nothing on screen also like optantic previously did.
Does Xenon boards need Alt wiring to? I can revert back to freeboot 9199 with no issue.
I also tried using easy freeboot tool 12611 to create the .bin wrote it jtag tool 2.12 the xbox now boots into xell when pressing the on button strange.
I have xenon board with standard jtag points connected using the nand-x kit
Any Help or suggestions are appreciated.
found my answer here is a crucial difference from freeBoot 0.032, if there is no DVD-ROM drive attached it will boot into Xellous when you power on the console. If you are using a driveless console, before building your freeBoot 0.04 image enter the bin directory and rename freeboot.bin freebootxellous.bin and then rename freebootalt.bin to freeboot.bin.

There is a problem with the jtag-tool period..............and would advise not to use it untill it`s fixed .
I too have experienced the solid green light , black screen ,on powerup after
flashing with original nand using correct smc config.
I replaced the original smc file with my working smc ...in mydata folder from within the jtag tools folder installed in windows. I have came across a few post now that have reported this error after flashing ,and belive CS is looking into it after reading his comments on tech-modz .

So following on from my previous post.I installed the latest dash via the new jtag-tool 2.20 . No xb1games would load .Think latest tool looses that ability.
I updated with dash_launch_v2.05_for_12611 .......The loader said there was no need to update ...but it did do something and now xb1 games boot again.
Very happy now with the the newest dash and all working ok.

Anybody have a listing of the error codes? My previous post wasn't answered and i can't troubleshoot without a definition of the error codes.
I know it's not my soldering skills (i solder dc jacks and usb ports on laptops) and it's not the xbox. It has to be either the nand-x or the jtag tool program.

UPDATE: Installed dash_launch_v2.06_for_12611 and no more XBOX1 
Bombs out to the original dash stating that family settings are preventing the game from being played, even though they are disabled on my system. Going to see if there is a bug reporting page for dashlaunch and post there.

Did you dump multiple times and do the errors show in the same blocks in all blocks? If yes and and there are 0 mismatch blocks then proceed with writing xell and obtaining your CPU key.
I want to install xell with Jtag tool.
When I use nand pro command, I have an error with driverlinx I/O port service (win vista 32). I cannot install port 95...
With Jtag tool it works but it's very slow, is it normal ?
How can I install xell without port95 ?

Coolshrimp, I'm bit confused. Does v2.20 uses only audio_clamp for alternate or is audio_clamp & open_tray too?
