We already knew from last year that they banned around this time, the JTAG--Freeboot/XBR consoles, but that is NOT my question.

This is the specific question:

Are they banning currently the Freeboot JTAG consoles at newly patched kernel 12611 as of November 27th 2010 on XBL?

I am not concerned about Xlink or Kai or any third party on line host, just temporary access to XBL for recent or current game patches.

I want to load an entire 150+ game library to a a new 1 terrabyte hard drive and access online XBL to download the hundred + current game patches for stability, and thus avoid using the USB transfer cable and buggy Xplorer360 beta 6, build 2.

The plan is to manually launch one game at a time and get the patches that way and also test the integrity of the newly installed game image simultaneously for proper launch compliance.

I don't care about being banned later, I just want to know if we can login on as of today.

I think this makes the XBL question clear now.

whats unclear about it you log into live on your Jtag your banned simple as there is no date for banning don't know where your getting your info you will be banned any day you log in with your 12611 Freeboot kernels on XBL is that clear enough now..

Are there any current post or threads documenting publically that as of this week: November the 28th 2010, the current 12611 Freeboot kernel is being banned immediately upon initial connection to XBL. I have not ready any such reports and in fact I have read the opposite may be true with COD: BO

I'm looking for a reputable source that has checked this week a JTAG'd console using one of their "spare" Xenon kernels to see if the new 12611 Freeboot is being banned on XBL.

Eventually of course Freeboot 12611 will be banned, but not at this exact moment which is all I want to know; and this is the purpose of the original question. we are not concerned about future ban hammer flags.

CoolShrimp, surely you must have some spare KVs from some RROD consoles, to test this out on to see if the ban against Freeboot 12611 is currently being streamed or just flagged for later implementation.

I don't care if they flag the console later, I just to know if the ban hammer is triggered immediately as of this week: Nov 28, 2010, so it will save me some time getting the current game 100+ patches installed for obvious game stability.

JTAG is a hardware modification which will allow the running of unsigned code on the unit...
Unsigned code = This is any software that was not signed by M$ so made by other third party developers and is detectable when you go live any time never mind November the 28th 2010 im telling you anytime so it will be flagged faster then you think.
This is why when someone go live with a Jtag to run a 10th or what ever he stays on live for as long as they get because when you turn the Jtag off and try to go live 99% chance its band if not its on the list to be band, i got an hour because my son forgot he was on the Jtag and not the retail.. lol

A JTAG IS NOT FOR LIVE UNLESS YOU HAVE KVs COMING OUT YOUR EARS......

Instead of using XBL for downloading Title Updates, why don't you use Xbox Update Center to download the Title Updates you need. Then you can copy them to the "Cache" folder on your Xbox360 HDD and they will work without any problem.

Because I don't like using that USB transfer cable and Xplorer beta 6, build 2, especially when you need to patch 100+ games.

Its extremely slow, cumbersome and buggy, and also XBUC database is sometimes behind in some of the critical and current game updates: http://xbuc.net/ such as COD: BO and others.

So after reading your comments it appears no one really knows how long a console can exist with JTAG using Coolshrimp's XBL enabled Freeboot 12611 kernel.

The value of an unbanned key vault is minimal anyway in a JTAG environment so you have nothing to lose testing them on XBL.

sure JTAG is easier to spot for obvious reasons, but how long EXACTLY to the banning event is unknown presently.

I read a post elsewhere that a few months ago it lasted for them about 1 hour, so I will test it myself this weekend and find out their current ban appetite. But we know its not necessarily INSTANTANEOUS.

FTP is an option for game patches, and if this does not work than that was already my backup plan, so yes, I knew about that, but I hate wasting time downloading from XBUX these numerous game patches and installing them one at a time via FTP. that is messy and time consuming.

This is why i would rather use XBL to save some time and I don't care about the KV being banned. 1 hour should be enough to get most of them if that rate is still true. That is the original purpose of this new exercise.

you like making things sound hard lol using FTP you can transfer the lot all at once highlight them all open your cache folder on the root of hdd1 and hit transfer bang job done lol FTP is not slow unless you have crap speeds.
I transfer all my backups by FTP faster the using USB....

Johnny2good is correct. I agree with him completely.

As for wasting time, you've wasted enough time asking that in how much time it will take to ban freeBOOT 0.4 with kernel 12611 on XBL. If you had used this time instead to download Title Updates from XBUC, you already would have downloaded and copied them to your Xbox360 a long time ago....

Your missing the point entirely;

I do not plan on wasting time downloading one game patch at a time (100+) from XBUC and doing a massive FTP transfer. Waste of time and XBUC is not 100% up to date.

The goal is to evaluate the speed of ban activity and SIMULATANEOUSLY let XBL download and install the numerous game patches and also SIMULTANEOSLY verify the integrity of the installed game image to ensure it boots perfectly before the ban is triggered. One stop shopping. One hour be sufficient to do most of them.

I respect your suggestions, but I find them unsound logically and they will thus be ignored; I plan on testing this method and sacrificing a KV as necessary to save time; If I get one hour on XBL than that is all I will need.

What you've said above is unlogical in every aspect you can look at it.

If you really want to download the Title Updates, then log on to XBL and see for yourself what happens. Don't ask other people to do and experiment what they already know.

I have a question. What is for the "No Disk Drive" option?

Also I had a bad flash with Flash360 should I delete Xell before writing it again?

What is the need for Flsh360 if this application flash freeboot via USB/LPT ???

Nice application

No Disk Drive option is for those people who don't have/keep the DVD Drive connected to the Xbox360.

No need to delete XeLL. Just overwrite it.

Flash360 is used for flashing without the need of a PC. But if you don't have Flash360 installed or doing the Jtag for the first time or something has gone wrong with the Jtag, you need a PC to read/write the NAND. This is what USB/LPT is used for.

Thanks for the reply AzeeM

I dont have a DVD Drive on my Xbox360 so I will use it

Something went wrong with my Jtag, I flashed freeboot without being configured for the aud_clamp smc so now my Xbox wont turn on (no power) I am installing at the moment a USB flasher and I intend to use that tool
