I dont have a DVD Drive on my Xbox360 so I will use it

Something went wrong with my Jtag, I flashed freeboot without being configured for the aud_clamp smc so now my Xbox wont turn on (no power) I am installing at the moment a USB flasher and I intend to use that tool

So, the problem is ..... ?

None, I just wanted to know if people that have an xbox without a dvd drive should use that option and If could just overwrite the Xell considering I had a bad flash

Does that mean its going to have Alternate SMC Configuration sorted Cool iv being looking for an info on this.

You tell him Johnny, cause when I asked him last time if the AUDIO_CLAMP option he had on v2.20 uses both points he said he doesn't know him self lolz .

So far v2.12 seemed to be the safest option for me as it uses the default smc from the source NAND.

Guess will be up for more testing when the newer version comes out.

is this the smc files for Aud_clamp and DVD tray for all motherboards? cause ill add this in..

Thanks for creating this tool.

I have an xbox 360 (jasper 512) with jtag installed, the freeboot of which was made thanks to jtag tool 1.74 which I would like to update. I have the original nand dumps, the cpu key, the currently installed freeboot image.

I am a total noob, I could never do the soldering myself so I had someone do this and I dont know exactly which kind of wiring was done (I understand there are several of them) and I dont know how to open the thing.

1/ However, knowing the freeboot image was made using jtag tool 1.74, can I just use jtag tool 2.20 to create a freeboot.bin? Should I leave the aud_clamp SMC unchecked ?

2/ I have an external usb module permanently connected so that I can update the nand whenever I want but I'd rather not use itbecause last time jtag tool apparently had errors while writing to the nand (and not at the same place when trying multiple times). Can I instead use xellous (I think jtag tool installs it) on boot with the newly freeboot.bin renamed to updflash.bin on a usb key to update the nand ?

Will this software only work with NAND-X or possibly other hardware? I am looking at some of the Microchip PICkits so I have an all around general development board. I already purchased a CK3 Pro Rev D and Probe 2 with other goodies to support the team-xecuter.

I would just go with the NAND-X but I was told that will only work with XBOX and not on other devices. I have also found some open source software as well as H-JTAG which seem to do many things this software can do but I prefer this one since it specific to the XBOX.

theres an option for usb or lpt so i assume any nand reader that connects via usb or lpt would work, not just the nand x.

unless someone knows otherwise?????

Your right flash any nand reader that connects via usb or lpt will work with the correct drivers assigned for the nand reader but Nand X works Flawless all the time....

Xecuter should make the NAND-X V2 USB 3.0 compatible!
Imagine the speeds...

Yup, Not needed at all, but wouldn't be too bad. Although i would have to get myself a USB3 chipset..
But hey, The NAND-X is perfect as it is, the V2 is all about goodies i guess
