It's for banned nintendo switch and banned account. My nintendo switch is not banned and can play online with sysnand 7.0.1 and emunand 6.2. How to update emunand to 7.0.1, sorry for my bad English.

note to those reading make sure if no emunand is created you turn it off.... my system wouldnt even boot till i did that and my license file works now... so YAY!
all you need to do is run sx 2.6 without emunand enabled go into options create a 7.0.1 emunand and then reboot or just diable emunand by ticking the box above cfw and making it say disabled that way you can keep your 6.2 emunand if you need it. you may have to make a new sd card for each emunand tho as they are very big 32gb and also i dont think sx os has an emunand version selector.... which would be a good idea for future version cfw to reloa the options press and hold the vol+ while booting youll see original menue of cfw ofw and options

It seems emunand hidden partition doesn’t work if you have it in 6.2 and update it to 7.x

See my reply couple of messages up:

Got invalid license error as well.

Fixed it by doing the following.

1. Download 2.5.3 boot.bat file.
2. Copied boot.bat file to root of SD card.
3. Boot to SX dongle.
4. Clicked boot to CFW. It will warn you that you don't have license.bat.
5. Generate license-request.bat file.
6. Don't continue to boot to CFW.
7. Use https://sx.xecuter.com to generate license.bat file using the generated license-request.bat in Step #5.
8. Download 2.6 boot.bat file.
9. Overwrite the boot.bat file in your SD card with the new one.
10. Boot SX OS.

It is time to move to SXOS from Atmosphere.
Because they released the best one now.

I made it in a minute, Just deleted atmosphere and folders, files for apps.
And then copied a 'boot.dat' file to the SD root.
... installed AutoRCM.

That's it.

You still use the same tut for updating your emunand

I have the NAND back up on 6.2 before, but I accidentally updated to 7.0.1. Do I still need to do another NAND backup on 7.0.1?

Yes, you make a new nand backup now that you have updated your OFW from 6.2 to 7.0.1

The steps sounds correct

On my switch i have an orange button on the meny screen where i can chose emunand enable or disable, set it to enable and then boot cfw (sxos)

The recommended Option is to create an emunand in a hidden partition, but then the SD will be formated while the process, correct? What about the boot.dat, license.dat ..? will they be on the card after the creation? Are there any disadvantages when choosing one of the other options, i.e. writing it to an existing folder?
After that i will enable the emunand.. is it still recommend to use auto RCM? what exactly does that mean, will it boot into SX after complete shutdhown oder empty batterie? when do i need the Pro in that case? only for disable AutoRCM again? are there any risks beside enabling AutoRCM will write in sysnand (i think)?

There seems to be reports about emunand in hidden partition isen't working on 7.0.x, if its true or not i don't know, mu emunand is not hidden

If you use autoRCM and shut down console, it will drain your battery since its not really shut down but reboot into RCM mode, just use the sleep mode then insted, it will also over time drain your battery but not as quickly as the other, and besides that, using the autoRCM and sleep mode you then doesn't have to use the dongle when waking up from sleep iirc

I do.

My Switch was 7.0.0, i bought SX Pro, went through the steps, got to black screen on custom FW load.

Waited 3 - 4 weeks, replaced boot.dat with the 2.6 beta, and everything I've tried so far works.

Patience paid off for me, and now i know to never upgrade unless it is confirmed as working.

I am willing to bet a lot of people won't learn from this and when the next firmware comes out they will be back in the same place, waiting. However, it appears that future updates should roll out in a more timely fashion.

today, i update SX OS 2.5.3 to 2.6 beta with OTA. I still with 6.2 on EMUNAND and OFW. And i still wait for update OFW to 7.x ( no emergency for me ).
Question : when i update OFW 6.2 -> 7.x, how to update the CFW on EMUNAND with 6.2 today ?
Erase the EMUNAND and Recreate ? i lost my game or by choixdujour. What is the Best Practice ?

I updated my emunand with choixdujour without any problem, just keep in mind HDD support doesn't work in CFW 7.0.x
