Oh, damn... forgot to put the coolrunner on NOR

It was about 2 months after I decided to RGH my console and yesterday I said to myself: "YOU CAN AND YOU WILL DO IT!" I was so stupid!

I was so excited back then (Nov-Dec 2011) when I purchased coolrunner and nand-x but all the exciteness disappeared after the "can't find usb interface" and checking with a multimeter and verifying that my soldering skills are not so good (at least)!
The project "RGH my console" was so promising but I decided I have to leave it at least for that moment! (I was so disappointed).
So, here I am after 2 months and I 've managed to do the soldering and read my NAND twice without any problem (using Jtag tool). After it did the compare automatically (I think) and created the ECC I accidentally closed the Jtag tool. So I opened it again compared the 2 Nands and wrote the saved ECC. A window poped up saying Reset Glitch Installed! I was happy again after 2 months!!! I put the motherboard back to the box connected it to tv but forgot to put the coolrunner on NOR! SH1T!!! Now that I watch the videos I 've recorded I see that the first time I turned it on the coolrunner had no led light. Seconds later I see the RROD and I realised that I have forgotten to put it on NOR! Turned the console off, changed it to NOR and now I have the red led always on and the green every 5 seconds and after 4 cycles I get RROD Is this situation reversible? Please say yes!!

Post pics of your install. Did you remember to program the glitch board? N/M you must have seeing as how the green light does flash.
What exactly do you want to take pictures of?
I flashed the glitch board in the beggining with jtag tool got the Glitch board ready popup!
N/M?

5sec on each cycle, with 4 cycles thats 20 sec. read martins guide.
There it says about Xell and cpu keys I do not have the key and I think I can't see Xell

I reckon you've just written your original NAND back. You're getting RRoD as it hasn't booted the console within the 20-25 secs allowed by the system. ECC and RGH ignores the 0022 RRoD which is why you wouldn't normally see it.

Try to undo the changes by writing your original nand back by connecting again the nand-x, and then, from cmd typing "nandpro.exe usb: -w16 originalnand.bin 0 50" (without quotes). After that, switch the Coolrunner on "Nor", unplug the console for about 30-40 seconds and turn it on. If everything is done right, it should boot normally.

If it boots normally, start from square one, following the good ol' tutorial here. If not, post here the error.

LE: By the way - I would use multi_builder 0.7 to create the ecc, not Jtag Tool (you can write it with Jtag Tool, if you want).

I think you mean Switch the Coolrunner on prog. this cut the power to the CR.

"nandpro.exe usb: -w16 originalnand.bin 0 50" OR
"nandpro.exe usb: -w64 originalnand.bin 0 50" because I have a 256 one?

I don't understand what you tell me. I once again did it all from the beginning (read the nand compared it with another one, created and wrote ECC) and now it doesn't give me the RRoD but it doesn't boot XeLL either... It tries again and again but no output in my tv (tried it many times). I think the 3rd time I tried it gave me this

Either way I get a "nandpro.exe is not recognised as an internal...command..."
First: copy originalnand.bin (or how you named your original nand) to the Jtag Tool folder (or where your nandpro.exe is).

Second: open cmd, and navigate in the command prompt to the folder where Jtag Tool is installed (where you copied the originalnand.bin) and there launch the command described earlier.

Obviouslly, it's -w64, but I wrote -w16 because you didn't specify anywhere you have a BB Jasper. :)

The first step would be to start your console normally, and only after that follow the guide in the previous post link (avoid Jtag Tool for the moment, especially when reading BB Nand - it reads the hole nand, which is unnecesary and time consuming).

By the way, it is mandatory to post some pictures of your soldering points and wire positioning.

The original nand isn't one from the first two I compared together before creating the ECC? Or am I missing something critical here?
Thanks in advance, for bearing with me on this one!

I managed to flash the original nanddump back but xbox doesn't boot..Gives me RRoD in about 2-3 seconds. Maybe it is because I have't placed the dvd driver in? Should I also plug the dvd driver too?

Having the DVD connected or not isn't the cause of your RROD. You need to find the secondary code for your RROD. Wonder if it will be another 0022 !!!

Indeed the secondary RRoD is 0022, maybe it is because I have the nand-x plugged in? Or maybe because the original dump I tried to flash back with the "nandpro.exe usb: -w64 originalnand.bin 0 50" command was 256 and not 64???

Your 0022 is due most likely to a short on the PLL_BYPASS point. Check that point, and make sure it's cleanly soldered.

No. :) The command was good with -w64.

Manwithoutname +1

Again: post clear and good resolution pictures with your soldering.
