Ok, now what? please i need some help with the slax...

Ok i have burnt the slax iso to the disk, now on the guide is says power on both 360 and pc and boot the slax disk... im not that great with pc's so is the slax disk supposed to be in my pc before i turn it on, so when i turn it on it will boot from it? sorry for the noobie-ness...and can this screw up my PC ???

yes check in the BIOS that your computer is set to boot from CD first, then conect the XBOX drive to the 1st SATA port on your computer power on your PC and power on your XBOX, then the SLAX cd will auotboot, and put your drive into modeB.

I had problems with the BIOS hanging on boot when the XBXO was conected, so I powered on my PC and at the point of when your computer says detecting harddrives, power on your XBOX.

Also when you are booting from the CD if you see spinning up disk and it hangs, press the eject button on the XBOX drive.

Ok, Where abouts will i find my SATA ports...cause i put my SATA cable in the wrong ones earlier today, i plugged it into the 2nd hard drive lol...My pc cost £700/$1400 odd, so i asked some people and they said the sata ports are defently there... i just dunno where abouts ill be lookin for them....

Your SATA ports if there onboard will be on the motherboard somewhere, there will prolly be two of the you need to plug it into the first one.

If your asking questions about where the ports are, are you sure you should be flashing and XBOX?

Well im new to the insides of a pc...im only 15, and it turns out the f**kers at pc world lied to me...saying that i already had a sata pci card installed with the sata slots...so would anyone suggest what sata card i should get for my 0078fk hiatchi drive?

OK well if it dont work with the onboard ones, so do some dont, you will need to get the VIA 6421 chipset, I have the card but also onbaord and out the XBOXes I've flashed I havent used the card.

So i would try the onboard ones first.

There about 1-2cm in lenght and black in colour
