YES!!!
I officially confirm that R-JTAG works on Zephyr!!!
This Zephyr was RGH1 unglitchable, both CPU and GPU are reballed.
Because, you know, the word of several admins and moderators wasn't enough to confirm. :p

The issue with zephyrs is definitively the cpu for 2E fails.

I'm glad you got it working, but maybe take this a small lesson to take the advice of the nerds upstairs.

Ok, that probably sounds more derogatory that it was meant to. Rant over.

Great success!

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

Also, it probably would have worked rgh1 with a reballed cpu, but that is merely speculation.

this is another Zephyr, I reballed both CPU and GPU long time ago on it and tried RGH1 then
first Zephyr is dead, I killed CPU on it trying to lift it

It boots only with Falcon file (CB 5770), with Zephyr file - E79.Boot time is sporadic and looks like it's getting worse. At some point it started in 2 glitches, now it's up to 50. But when it starts it's stable.

@[email protected] - Which guide did you follow to rebuild your Nand with the Falcon image?

Since I don't have a local place I can get reball/reflow done the Falcon NAND is the only easy option, I'm afraid. I've searched for some good guides but w/o CPU key (it seems) it not a easy thing to do...

I intend to get into it this weekend... if I can find the time.

To find a falcon nand u can just seek "falcon 9199 jtag freeboot eurasia" on google. You'll find an old 9199 freeboot from which u can create a rjtag xell loader.

if your motherboard needs a reball/reflow then it doesn't matter what nand you use. A reflow means that the board is broken and needs to be repaired before it will work correctly.

HOT CPU

COLD CPU (first cycle was an instant boot because CPU didn't cool down from the previous experiment)

Do me a favor, before reballing, detach the fans, let it become a bit hot and see if it boots.
RF1911, exactly as you say!

If I insert a piece of paper between fan shroud and CPU heat sink and let CPU warm up it boots from the first glitch, without a paper up to 100 glitches (a lot worse than RGH2 on Falcon). Always fails on Post 2E. I already reballed the CPU on this board, and today I reflowed it just in case with Insat magic flux.

Any idea how to fix this ?

Stock image boots fine.

Initially when I just installed R-JTAG on this board there was too little thermal paste and CPU was too hot that's why it booted perfectly, then in FSD and dash launch I noticed that the temperature is too high, fans spin almost full speed but heat sink is almost cold. I fixed the problem by re-applying thermal paste, now temperature is good, but boot time sucks.

How can I fix this problem ?

This board was on 14699 recently, I tried RGH1 twice before reball and after reball, it never booted up even once.
