Yep, IIRC that thread had nothing much to offer short of tips on how to defraud a retailer. And if you read the site rules they are clear that threads such as those will be locked/moved/deleted. There are plenty of other existing threads/tutorials on x-clamp replacement.

well, my intent wasn't to defraud a retailer, i was basically asking what checks does best buy conduct before they accept a return on a extended warranty purchase.... that was my real intent
