The logo keeps freezing on me...and I keep getting the 3 RROD...\i have my original nand, my CPU key, my DVD key, my nand-X, and even the updflash from the 12625 FB...started have the trouble after installin Dash Launch...I just want to know if I can fix this by re-installing the original nand and doing it all over again...

Thanks in advance...

"started have the trouble after installin Dash Launch" But have you been able to launch any applications or backups after installing the dash launch ,or the error started right after the dash launch install? It coud be a normal RROD hardware failure and had nothing to do with you installing the jtag applications.whats the board?

Yeah started freezing right after the update on dashlaunch...and I tryed a couple of times then the 3RROD showed up again...I should mention the console was experiencing the 3RROD...I just fixed it by baking it but Im still waiting for kit...okay maybe I`ll ask this again after I put the RROD kit on...Sorry to waste ur time but will let u guys know later.

Again sorry to waste ur time.

No time wasted! But its best for you to actually apply the RROD kit and them see what happens. If the machine already suffer from RROD,maybe the right RROD kit its all you need.

rewrite your 12625 and then see if it boots again. I bet your having the same issues with dash launch I'm haveing. Everytime I run dashlaunch it freezes. My problem was I didnt tell it where to look for the default.exe

0020 - secondary code
0020 code is one of the easiest to fix (in my opinion). i use the overheat trick. remove the fan cable and switch on, let the the console overheat (2 red lights) switch off, leave for 15mins to cool down. reconnect the fan cable, shroud, drive etc and switch back on,it should fire up with 4 green lights

Works for me, others may disagree

overheating the chip that way is dangerous and could well fry it completely.it can work but something to take into consideration is while unpowered they can take a lot more than the machine can generate which is why a proper reflow will be around 220 degrees but when powered the cut off temp of around 80 or 90 degrees is bordering on fry temp and no where near enough to melt solder so all you end up with is a temporary fix at best, silly to do to a standard machine let alone a jtag IMO

Although it maybe the easiest/fastest way of fixing an RROD, its also the worst way. This may get the Xbox360 working for a little bit of time, but it will cause such damage, that won't be even then fixable by a proper reflow.

I would never disagree with a reflow, as Ive done loads. He's talking about putting the mobo in the oven, big mistake in my opinion. I have never ever fried a chip using the overheat trick on a 0020 secondary code and its the only code i would do it on

sh!t nooooo to the oven!!! lol i missed that one. though i am tempted to low bake a warped board i have here to try and flatten it lol i'm just trying to work out how to stand 20 feet away when plugging in the power socket afterwards lol.
wasn't disagreeing with you dale just thought it worth pointing out about the temps. i've done overheat repairs too in the past but most come back in a matter of days i find.
