Ive also read this "I'm not sure if you were already aware of this or not, but the DGX is necessary if you are on the latest dashboard (16202.) If your console is on 14719 or below, you do not need the DGX to retrieve the CPU key."
So appearently i need a dgx since my console is on the latest dash?

The DGX is now discontinued as mentioned a coorunner rev c will retrieve the cpu key also the slim proto which is the way to go,and you need to do plenty of reading on the process of RGH.

The jr programmer will do the job and the slim proto v2 is perfect.

Welcome to the forums.

You'll soon learn why it's a bad idea to follow anyone's advice other than what you read on here. There's a lot of outdated information. My RGH Roadmap for noobies covers the majority of your basic questions and has an easy-to-read chart to determine what console needs what exploit. You'll notice there's no mention of DGX on the roadmap as it's no longer needed.
