I'm a noob at this and I just finished installing my X3 and as soon as I plugged that bad boy in. I got the on off on off red green red green deal. My MS dash is booting up fine though. What in the blue hell could that mean? Any help is much appreciated. Don't worry I won't knock the chip like some people do.

its not d0 if you can enable/disable the chip. check all lpc solders especially the LADs, also if you have a 1.6 make sure you did the lpc rebuild correctly.

BTW - When searching, this is referred to as FRAG ... Flashing Red And Green. I have a 360 with flashing red lights. The lights flash 2 red at top and then 2 red at botton, and then back to 2 reds at the top and then back to the bottom ect continuasly/ there is no sound or video output...Anyone know what the error is?

I have never hear of the red lights flashing in that way and I have worked with quite a few RRoD Xbox 360s :?
It could be a faulty RF (ring of light) board... you can try it with a different one and see if that changes anything.
Are you able to get a secondary error code? (See here).
Have you tried to JTAG the console?

Hey,
You can check out the link I have below. It deals with the error codes that the 360 gives you (like blinking red lights). Im not for sure about your exact problem, but hopefully this page might tell ya a little something about it. Good Luck!

Ok I cant get any secondary error code as it just continues to flash green and red alternately. I have tried another rf board. The 360 is a return from microshite. They wont fix it as it had been opened previously. The thing is I sent it to them with a faulty drive and it came back with the red lights flashing and they don't want to help at all as it is now "blacklisted"
