Hi!

I've been reading a lot about modding 360's and firmware and so on and I'm thinking about giving it a go.

The only thing I'm having some problem figuring out is the "Onboard SATA" issue. Basically I'm not sure if my motherboard can handle it.

I've got an ASUS "A8N-E" board. You can check it out here:

So if one of you guys can help me out I sure would appreciate it. Thanks!

You are kind of doing it backwards because the chipset you need is dependant on what DVD-Drive your 360 has. I have that same chipset and I couldn't flash the drive I got.

Worst case though, you will have to buy a cheap $25 card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16815124022
