Online despite "stealth mode"

Hey Guys...

My Kid played the New Pokemon Sword and happily told me she is playing with others against huge pokemon. I checked the Stealth mode was enabled correct...but indeed....she was online.

Playing on Fw. 8.0.1 and SX OS 2.7.1...

I normaly dont do stuff online with the Switch...just got the wlan enabled for installing via SX Server...

My Question now is...do i have to be concerned about anything?! I mean, I don't care about don't be able using the store or something. Updating anyway via "ChoiDujourNX".

i'm not sure it's online at all. I think they are just NPCs, all computer controlled. I've seen the same thing and there are tents around with NPC pretending to be people. The giant pokemon are like mini bosses, the team might be padded out with computers because you're not expected to take on a huge hulking monster on your own.

For one you would not be able to connect to Nintendo runnong FW 8.0.1. It would ask/force you to update. It is most likely as the other person said and is just NPC's in the game or possible players that are close enough to be in adhoc range since the game creates it's own adhoc connection for local play.

Ah okay...I don't know the Details of the other Players...I updated the Sx OS to the actual Beta Version now and tried it by my own in the evening and got a error-msg when i tried to find online stuff or other camps/players...so i don't care anymore but thanks a lot for your reply....;-)
