ONLY goes to XeLL after installing dash 12611

so i have a falcon, im very experienced in jtags, but for some reason, this one is an a**h*** mother f***ing whore lulz.

so, i have the SMC updated from following this tut: http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55189

TMS: AUD_CLAMP
TDI: OPEN_TRAY

so i made my image out of my original nand, updated SMC, did all that stuff, and flash. turn on xbox, and all it does it go to XeLL. i take out the DVD drive and it still goes to XeLL. i put in an HDMI cable, and it doesnt do anything, stays at black screen. so WTF is going on?

dash 9199 still works.

So you made your image from your 7371 dash? Too many people are having problems doing it this way, I just dumped my updated 9199 FB nand and followed this guide here.

Just for the record, dash 12611 will always boot into xell if no DVD is attached unless you use the patch in the bin folder in Jtag Tool 2.12.

the aud_clamp fix for easy freeBoot smc? and if so, when i did that, i got a 1033 error, as in jtag wiring.

Try this, dump your existing 9199 dash of the console using flash360, use that as a source with Jtag tool v2.12 then flash the output to your console via flash360 again. Let me know how this goes.

tried, wont work, gave me E79 error 1033 (jtag wiring)

Are you certain you used v2.12 and not v2.20? If no success I suggest you re-create everything from the 1st step (use v1.74 to create 9199 initially and then flash to your console, make sure you replace the smc files in 1.74 with modified ones already).

i used 2.20, but whats the difference?

The difference is that I tested both and found that v2.20 doesn't work with the specific alt points (audio_clamp & open_tray) that's the difference

ok, so, make a flashdmp from 9199. open in jtag tool 2.12. hit create (don't tick anything?) and rename as updflash and flash?

I suspect a mix up with the SMC setup/configuration. I'm still experimenting and playing with v2.12 and v2.20 along with some other tools.
