LITEON 0225 only have key.bin & wont let me flash drive

I only have the key.bin file for a 0225 drive i have tried to manual spoof this and save but it doesnt save the key in the dummy when i save its all in F's. Ive tried flashing it but alas its not actually trying to flash this key but all F's and it fails:

You cant just put your key in that drive there is other information missing from the dummy.bin/orOFW.bin that you don't have.

I believe you are at a permanent RGH For that drive with out your dummy.bin or OFW.bin

Basically the console is not going to be a live safe console anymore. What you'll have to do is manually spoof your key into a phat lite-on firmware and spoof it over. You cant just spoof a key into a slims drives firmware. The key wont hold to the firmware and it will be reset back to all FFFFF's.

Nope didnt read it! You should actually change your link to the link you have inside that thread. I'll have a ready threw it later but thanks for that.

Doing this its still not going to be a live safe box so no dual nand for it right.


I guess I dont know everything. Slims are still a fairly new thing to me. Only done a few and never had a lost key as of yet.

Disable FCRT when creating Image for your RGH. It'll need to be a permanent RGH if you want to make use of your drive. J-Runner makes it a breeze.

I got mine working yesterday and can confirm that it indeed DOES work.
