only one led

have installed chip but keep getting flash screen does seem to flash then switches off but get same screen when turned back on. only mod chip led on have fitted new hdd which is unformatted as old one knackered

If you are flashing from bank 2, try flipping the switch to bank 1. See my sig for why. If the one LED you are talking about is the enable/disable LED it is likely that you have the LEDs turned off. Sometimes the switch for the on/off of the LEDs is labeled backwards.

ta exactly what the problem was with leds but if i put switch to bank one get blank screen

What version Xbox do you have? What bios did you flash? Provide as much information as possible so we can help you.
