only one X3 LED on

Only one of the two blue LEDs are lighting up when powering on the xBox. When the chip is not plugged in the box boots up fine. However, when the chip is plugged in and the xBox is powered on, one light on the chip flashes and nothing else happens. My chip controller doesn't light up either. Please help!

Btw, I think that the light that isn't lighting up is the 5V light. I checked my 5V connection with a multimeter and it read 5V so I'm not sure where the problem is.

Make sure all the LPC pins are connecting to the chip

All pins are definately connected to the chip. Is there a chance my chip is fried or something?

1) No or One Blue LED lit on X3 when powered on.
-- Blue LED near LCD dial is 5V power. This power is from Pin 6 (or the single red wire lead for v1.6 xboxs)
-- Blue LED near the opposite corner is 3.3V power. This power is from Pin 15.
If you do not have both LEDs lit check these solder points.

Ok, I checked some things and fiddled around and now I've got both LEDs lighting up and my flash bank switch is working but I don't get video when I boot from the chip. I know this topic probably shouldn't be here but any help would be appreciated.

It turns out the bank switch plug was messed up. A few of the pins were bent down and touching, causing the chip to short out. I just bent the pins back up, eased the switch plug in and it worked great! However, I think I need to get flashBios 3.03 on there somehow cause I have a v1.6b mobo and all I'm getting is a blank screen so if anyone can help me on that please do.

hi i got Samsung that hacked to ixtreme 1.61 on my xbox now
i got here new lite-on 9 series if i change the samsung to lite on
is there a chance to get banned or there is no problem with
switching drives brands ?

yes you will get banned, the 360 stores the drive Key AND drive make in the nand.

so from what you are saying for each xbox there is a single drive ?

so what guys doing in case of the original drive is damaged?

It increases the chances of being banned more than anybody else, but to a certain extent its safe but remember when on live your always taking a risk, its recommended you just wait for the sammy LT. The reason its more likely to be banned is because you are spoofing the drive to appear as another, and the xbox know which drive is supposed to be there.

like power lion said the 360 stores drive information in the NAND (chip on the xbox) and basically when spoofing its tricking the xbox to thinks its the same drive

if the drive is broken go on ebay.ca or ebay.com and buy another one of the same model.
