Ok, so I recently wanted to try out a debug bios. i currently have the x3 3108 in the first 1meg bank (1100 on front panel). i hit up #xbins and get a couple new bioses to try. I change to 1meg bank 2 (0100) and boot using the built in flash bios and http over the debug bios.
The flash went ok and xbox shuts down. when i restart it all it does is the 3x reboot with flashing open button.
I flashed my x3 bios into the second bank (leaving the switches) and it goes ok. when i reboot it goes to my custom dashboard.
I try flashing the debug bios to bank 1 and it just does the flashing button again.
I read through these forums and did a few searches and found out my downloaded bios may be corrupted or something. I then downloaded a few others to try out and they all just do the flashing button. To make sure my x3 is ok i put the latest bios back into bank 1 and it acts fine.
What the heck? I know all those downloads couldn't be corrupt. Winrar opened the rar and zip files without any complaints of crc errors.
