Re: "Operation Failed, Failed to Autobaud" error while trying to flash Nand-X

I have a feeling that regarding the ck3 rev d problem is due to the pad on pin 1 being lifted that was my prob then upgraded to ck3i worked first time along with my diy update cable.
my set up: it is a low range laptop samsung r519 running windows 7 32bit, ck3i ,nand-x with yellow led , diy update cable , flash magic following the guide ( thanks uber ) and all worked perfectly. If anyone would like me to update there nand-x i will for free just cover recorded postage both ways.

id be happy to arrange a tx reseller close to you to upgrade all your stuff free of charge (worse case scenario)
Can I take you up on this offer Uber? I did order another nand-x updated from Xconsoles, but I would like this one to be current as well. I have 2 of almost all my tools except the nand-x, so I don't mind buying another.
My update cable was wrong, but I have an issue with PEBKAC with this one, LOL :rolleyes2: I switched the cable around the way it was supposed to be, but I still get the autobaud error.

Re: "Operation Failed, Failed to Autobaud" error while trying to flash Nand-X

I've been getting this error as well with Magic Flash. Windows 7 x64 with CK3 Pro (I don't think it's a Rev D... How do I identify?). Got the cabling and verified they are not somehow from the bad batch. Yet I get the error every time. It also fails with the Phillips tool. I get the error "Failed to communicate with test board" or something to that effect. Any ideas?

Using 5V molex adapter to power CK3 Pro
Using standard CK3 Pro/CK3i to NAND-X Cable
USB to Laptop on COM2

EDIT: Tried it on an XP machine. No go there as well.

EDIT: My board has a self-adhesive padding on the bottom. Makes it kinda difficult to do the pin solder route. May help someone identify what rev my board happens to be.

What a pain in the arse that was......
Desktop Windows 7 64 bit - no go
Desktop XP 32 bit - no go
Laptop XP 32 bit - Yes first attempt
So could it be a power issue with USB ports

Settings as per guide with the exception of Oscillator [MHz] 12

uhm...seems strange to me that the problem is with usb power since the c3k/i is powered with a molex... BTW you succeded in on a XP32 that doesn't have uac
