Dident know where to post this.

I have the above dvd drive and burner max payload says BurnerMAX not enabled, YET!
The said drive is on the compatible list.
I open imageburn select the file to burn run payload reselect the drive in imagburn (only 1 listed and installed)
Am I doing something wrong?

did u put a dvd dl disc in

Yes but not the suggested one's but they are 8.5 DL (no prob in the past until 8.7 games came out)

Ok just spent £24 on a Pioneer DVR-2160 (on the comp list as working) and that dont work. Do I need to alter any settings in imagburner?

Get yourself a Sony Optiarc 5280S-CB PLUS.
They burn xgd3 games straight out of the box with no need for burnermax payload.

that drive has gotten some sh*tttttty reviews on newegg. was thinkin bout one myself until i seen how many neg feedbacks,doa,sticky trays,stop showin in device manager and bios after very little use.imho ive never had better burners than what liteon makes.

dont take my word only on that,visit newegg.com and search for that drive,most reviews are bad.tbh i really dont know which way to go since that drive turned out to not have good reviews.

Just my input. @nofel hey bud I've been using the optaric cb plus and have not had any issues yet. Granted I do not do a ton of burning but its in my garage PC which gets pretty dirty and it still does a good job so far. I saw the reviews too but figured what the hell amazon had it for $19. There were not a ton of bad reviews for the 5820s cb plus a lot more positive than neg on new egg and amazon :smile:
