So i got this console off eBay, I forgot the Error it had but i think it was 0022 or 0102. So i tried the RGH1 it is on dash 13604 because i saw some where that Xell should work with RROD still. It just would not boot I did read the NAND and got the bad blocks as you can see down there. I flashed it back to stock with a Bad Block tried to turn it on still RROD so i sent it off to xJonnyGunsx Some of you may know him. He Reballed the GPU and still had 0022 he looked all over for Traces and all looked fine, He said "It does cycle a few times before throwing the 0022 error, which leads me to believe that it could be NAND related, or a component that failed - one that I can't locate (other than the GPU)". So now i am on a mission to find out if its the NAND or a Dead CPU I have done many RGH's before so i don't think i killed the CPU I didn't even lift any pads. So what do you guys think it is?

• Bad Block ID @ 0x27C [Offset: 0xA3F800]
• Bad Block ID @ 0x39F [Offset: 0xEEFE00]

• Bad Block ID @ 0x27C Found @ 0x3FF[Offset: 0x107BE00]
• Bad Block ID @ 0x39F Found @ 0x3FE[Offset: 0x1077C00]

Here is DL to my nand's i dumped: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jc98xvp89tvg1zg/opus.rar
Also Added some pics to show you guys it is a Opus and not trying to RGH a Xenon.

It depends on where the problem is, do not expect xell to boot with a dead CPU.
If you don't know the console history, just give up.
With a messed nand you can always write an ecc to boot xell.
Well it was never Reballed or Reflowed entail i sent it to get Reballed. And it was never RGH'ed entail i got it ATM i don't have it, But if i can remember It would flash so it would boot like the Green light on my CR3 Lite. Would a CoolRunner Flash green with a Dead CPU?

So, he reballed the GPU, and put back the epoxy around the outside of the GPU? Not likely.

If those are current pics, he's lying to you.

If you want to know what is dead on the console, hook up full POST.

You should be able to figure out what is dead from where the console fails in the boot cycle.

In some cases, the glitch LED will still blink.

Does the CPU heatsink get warm if the console is left powered on for a while?
Not to sure ATM JonnyGuns just sent it back today. But before i sent it i would let it sit and both heatsinks would get warm. He said that he looked all over the board and could not find anything well he did fine some traces but they were all fine.

Got it back today flashed the original Nand again, Got "Error: 202 writing block 39F" But Bad blocks are fine on console. Both the GPU and CPU heatsinks get warm if the console is left powered on for a while, Still has 0022 what else do you guys think it can be. Going to try the RGH again once i get my new CoolRunner Rev C.

Turns out now that it wont even show the Debug light/Glitch, I'm thinking its a Dead CPU now going to get a CPU Swap will update as soon as i know if it works or not.
