orig nand doesnt booting after update

hey guys,

i guys. i have a trinity with rgh 2.0 installed and it boots fine in in average 2 cycles
i installed a fat demon and both nands booted fine. The orig dash was on 14699 and the hacked dash on 16513. Then i wanted to update the stock nand from 14699 to 16513. i updated the console per usb. everething went fine as always but after the regular-update-restart it didnt boot again.

now the orig nand starts and you hear the hdd spinning up, but it doesent boot up. the rgh nand is stil booting

The image from your first post shows ldv 6, xell shows 5. Build a new retail with ldv 5.

i extracted everthing from the orig nand but there is no fcrt.bin?

Just load the one you have as source, goto advanced, change lock down value, put the number in, and hit create xebuild image.

I think the next thing you should do is post pics of your DemoN install.

Something in your install prevented the fuses from being burned. Fuseset 2 was ok, but fuseset 7 wasn't.

@ slayer. Same problem as before. in jrunner it also shows the same ldv values as before. is that normal?


I forgot to metion that everytime i succesfully read/write the orig or demon nand, the demon restarts.



i know...the flux etc... its not finished yet.

You need to change the LDV and then confirm it. The instructions are in the J-Runner PDF.

If your demon is restarting the there's the problem. The console reboots after an update and it's possible it restarted in demon mode and didn't finish the update properly. Where are you getting 5v for the demon?

edit: you have x7 (kiosk) going to GND. That needs correcting.

Fixed x7. Now the demon doesnt restart anymore. but i stil cant change the ldv. im doing it excactly as in the JF tut.

after entering the value 5 and hitting ok nothing happens. JF stil shows me the old LDV 6.

Are you actually creating the new image after changing the value or looking at the values of the currently loaded nand still?

Im creating the image after changing the value. after creating the new nand, jrunner loads it automaticly.

the nand info and with it the ldv is still the same

Load the created nand manually rather that looking at the auto loaded file as the values wont have updated.

Load the new updflash file manually and LDV will have changed,

or add your original nand and cpu key to a rar file and upload it somewhere and I will do it for you.

It must do something. It'll either boot or give you a RDOD.

If it's the latter, check your xell output again.

It starts, but dont boot up and dont give me a rod. i let the xbox stay on for about a minute

when i flash the older orig image from dash 14699,then i getting a rod, "as normal"

extract your files from your existing image and use to build a new image. Post your J-Runner log once you've built it.

Ok, but where do i get the FCRT.bin. There is no one in my image

just take any file and rename it to fcrt.bin. Create one if you need to. J-Runner expects fcrt.bin even if your NAND doesn't.
