Hiya guys,
I have a strong feeling this is in the wrong section BUT in my defence i wanted to post my question in the relevent thread ( Discontinued Products,Xecuter 2.6 (X2.6) section ) but their isn't a " Post New Thread " button,so my only hope was to ask in here
Ok here goes.I was given an Xecuter X2.6 Modchip BUT without the LPC Rebuild add on board a few years ago from a good friend of mine and i kept it in a box for the past couple of years. Now i got hold of a Version 1.6 original old Xbox and have fitted pin headers as per your offical fitting guide.
I ran the RED 5v wire to the correct position on the Xbox M/B and soldered the 3x thin wires ( Green,Red & Grey ) to the correct points on the M/B.
Now my head ache is trying to locate the correct points on the underside of the M/B to perform the LPC Rebuild using just wires, like i said,i havn't got the proper LPC PCB
I know this modchip needs reflashed with the correct firmware to work on my 1.6 Xbox as this Modchip was last used on an older version 1.4 M/B.
I followed a few wiring tuts i could locate over the internet and the small blue LED lit up on the Modchip when i switched my console on BUT my Xbox wouldn't boot,it reset itself about twice and it finally came up with a flashing RED light on the front of the console with nothing showing on my screen.I think my wires on the LPC Rebuild might not have been soldered to the correct points underneath the M/B,so i removed the those wires completely and have desoldered the 3x thin wires & the 5v wire from the M/B till i'm able to locate the correct diagram of were i need to solder to the correct LPC Rebuild points using just wires.
Please, please, please can anyone be of any help to me in my quest,as i love TX products and own a CK3 Lite kit,Probe 3 and my trusty TX Nand-X programmer
