Original XB dash question.

I just bought the Xbox Wireless Adapter for my xbox, and I think that I need the origonal xbox dash on my xbox in order to make this thing work. Is there anyway I can get around instaling the xbox dash on my xbox? Like some sort of .py script?

Here is my system-

X3CE
XBMC (newest version)
X3_3283 BIOS

You should definitely have the Xbox dash files installed on your HDD! If not, then games etc may have problems later on.

Most wireless adaptors carry their own IP and Subnet details. Try setting your Xbox to DHCP and connecting it. If you get an address, you should be able to configure it from there.
