did you make a backup of your eeprom or bios?

i remember a backup option in evox dash to backup vital data from the box
i'm not too sure about what kind of info though

someone with more knowledge on this topic will have to shed some light as to what do from here

Can you clear one thing up - you have posted in the Xecuter 2.6/2.6CE area. What chip have you actually got?

The reason I ask is X3eeprom eraser is meant for the X3 chip only. Wich one have you actually got? Xecuter 2 or Xecuter 3?

Now you really have taken a walk into the unknown!!!!! I am really not sure what impact running X3eeprom erase on a 2.6 would have, you might actually be the first person to have done this. The only thing I know for certain is that it is designed to erase the eeprom on an X3 chip where the settings are stored not on an Xectuer2.6, now your 2.6 does not have this eeprom. Would it look somewhere else when it failed to find the X3 eeprom, and more to the point could it erase data from elsewhere?

Lets hope some other people read this thread and might have some input?
