I'm trying to get my old Xbox HDD recognized by my PC so that I can use the memory for other projects. I unlocked the HDD, with my modded Xbox, and I installed it in the PC. When I go into the BIOS screen, it says that it is connected, and it's there and everything. When I get to the desktop though, it doesn't show up at all (not in My Computer, Device Manager, anything). Can someone please help me get this figured out? Thanks.

I'm running Windows ME.

I'm not sure where it is on Windows ME, but I know you should use Computer Management, and use the Hard Disk Management tool. Although.. I think the drive should still be showing up in device manager.

Anyways, give this a try...

Right-click "My Computer" and select Manage...

In the tree to the left, select Disk Management. Look for your drive in the list, you will probably have to populate the volume and format it.
