GENERAL Original Xbox Mod Chip Which one is the best to buy to suite my intended application.

1. I want to be able to boot systems that have a dead hard drive so I can install a new hard drive.

2. I want to be able to have lock/unlock capabilities with the Chip soldered in.

3. I'd like to solder pin header in and leave it then just unplug mod chip to use on another Original Xbox with another pin header.

Please let me know which is best to buy and possibly where I can Buy it as well thank you so much!

use the latest xecuter chip if you can still find them..

latest chip will always have added features compared to older ones

The X3 is probably the best chip out there, but good luck finding one.

X3 will be harder to find new.. you can check HERE for X2.6 if you can't find the X3
