I have been of of the modding loop for a little over 8 months now, after modding all of my friends boxes with 2.3 pros there was nothing left to do. Anyway, I have a couple people that want me to install chips in the xboxes now and a found out 2.3 is gone, so I order the x3 and x2.6 and programmer for some trial and error testing. I used to flash via the lpt ports on the 2.3pro, having never been able to get the crowell to take a disk. any way with all the new options for flashing what are you guys finding is the most convenent way to flash the new series of chips. any help would be greatly appreciated. I have put in the time over the years searching and I guess I am getting lazy. Thanks in advance.

I am using flash fxp right now, for my 2.3p I have read already that it should be fine to use, I haven't got the new chips yet and I was just trying to get a heads up for this, am I understanding this correctly, that the new flash bios has the ftp built into it? Wow that an upgrade. Anyway, I use a dedicated nic card to flash the xbox with a cross over cable, is there a static ip the box takes, I know it used to be the same for all of them in the evolx dashes, is the password still xbox, or is it now x3? And for the x2.6 I can still use the programmer to flash via lpt port correct.

Back up games downloaded from marketplace to DVD?

I have several xbox 360 games that I have downloaded from xbox live marketplace. I am running out of room on my HDD. I have an xport I use to back up things to my pc, but can I back up a 360 game and then burn it to DVD?

Thanks
