It still has the original x-clamps? If so, they can be crap, since you recently installed the J-Tag, the heatsinks prolly got bumped or something, and no longer work as they should. Take off both heatsinks, clean up the top of the cpu, and gpu, apply a think coat of thermal paste (Enough to not be able to see the chrome on the cpu or gpu), then try it, if it still has rings, or freezes, then unplug the fans, let system run for nearly 5 minutes or so until the 3 RRoD turns to 2. Or if you already have 2 RRoD, let it run, till the system shuts down, then that'll reset it. Let it cool for 30 minutes, then attempt to boot the 360 again. Hope I've helped. -JustinMy newly jtagged Zephyr overheats like a B***. Just got Xex Menu and the Gpu is 90 Lmao. If I keep it on for like 5 mins it gets two red rings and turns off

Lol! Glad you ain't working on jets. Haha, oh nevermind, just forgot the landing gear! Haha just kidding man! Well glad it's nothing major!nvm just forgot the fan shroud lmao.
Or just use free style and put the fan to 100%what you can do is apply artic silver...works the best....and you can also wire your stock fans to run at 12v...that will really help a lot...only downside is that its loud but totally worth it

Actually, that wont help as much as doing the 12V mod. Even though, you put your fans to 100%, they will still only be 5V.Or just use free style and put the fan to 100%![]()
